For two years
Knowing -- knowing
That it was cancer
I was told
Two years ago
She has watched me
Grow and learn
Been there
Understood
Happy to see me
Rarely complaining
A smile on her face
And happiness
We tried surgery
Finally in the end
We tried no more
And let her die
In my arms.
She has been my companion
For 12 years
Just been there

She was my loving dog, who cared for me.

My Darkest Hour

I've become lost
In my sundered reflection

I've finally crossed
The line of desperation

I sense something sinister
Something that is beyond cruel

My tears seem to hinder
Ready to break down soon

The darkness is always waiting

To rule / To conquer
To swallow / To devour
To return / To overpower

The shadows are always lurking

As I cry / As I weep
As I beg / As I plead
As I fall / As I grieve

The blinding fear is consuming

My anxiety-infected veins pour
I'm beyond weak

I don't want to be afraid anymore
Let me bleed

This is the only way out
A perfect exit for a coward

No longer am I bound
I couldn't survive my dark

When I'm GoneColorless and empty
The last fragment of my soul
Though there be no need for worry
Let it so be told
That once I am gone,
Once I fade away
Let the memories of you and I
Never leave this day,
With the sun shining bright between us
Let it be the only thing,
That stands or separates us
Before my dying day.

Cold and alone,
No light shines down in here
The earth trembles with anticipation
While I tremble out of fear,
No one knows the reason
But no one seems to care
That the reason that I did this
Was so that you would not be scared.

I've been trying to escape
Giant walls grow bigger

There is not place for anyone else
Just loneliness and myself
Heavy air is what I breathe,
Heavy tears are what I expect

Lonely whispers surrounding me
Adding more weight to my chest…
This pain around me is so dense,
It can be cut with a blade

Thousands of swords are falling
Willing to hurt where they can…
Painful cries are drowned,
By cruelty herself

Long I've been running
From here, to there…
Locked in a concrete prison,
Locked in a trees jail…

What is the difference
Between being alone here, and being alone there?
I am a captive in this

how every other day I cried

analyze me as weak

this voice crack when I speak

Comparing every little thing.

Clouding doubt in my mind that was once clear.

He Made Me SmileHe was like a large teddy bear, all wrapped up in Christmas paper for you. Just when you thought no one cared in the world – there he appeared bounding happy and caring, a gentleman to you.

And he sat there and said such wonderful things - how smart you were and "hey look at this" and you could almost guess what his family makeup was. He had a brother for sure, but no sisters. You could tell by his confidence and his smile that it was internally happy. Just everything about him was happiness and deep caring. And you deeply cared back.

Poetry is like a drawing
A drawing made of words
A drawing not to be shown
But to be heard

Poetry is like the wind
For it can be soft and warm
And come in a graceful form
Or it can be swift and cold
Emanating fear and nothing bold

Words are meant
To be shared unbent
Not twisted full of lies
And should be without
Any sorrow or sighs

Poetry is beautiful
It's a song without instruments
Poetry is wonderful
A colourful collage of imagination
Poems are lovely
A poem is a story
And if you have never heard one
I shall feel very sorry
